Getting Stronger - Feeling Better

Do you find yourself striving for happiness only to spiral down the path of anger, sadness or anxiety, whenever something gets out of control? Does your emotional baseline easily tip into the abyss of negativity? Do you blame other people or circumstances for how you feel? If you answered yes to any of the above, you might want to exercise your happiness "muscles". Content and joy as a state of being rather than a mere passing feeling, require practice over time. Once you raise your median vibration you can find it easier to consistently experience a happier feeling.

Getting stronger from within requires getting stronger in ways that most of us resist. It is easier to feel sad, angry and frustrated than it is to get up, cheer up and raise your vibration. Self resilience, self control over circumstance is but a practice that requires repetition. It is conditioning of the unconscious mind and recognizing the familiar reactions before they hijack your body, mind and spirit. Like anything else - the more you do it, the easier it gets. You are conditioning yourself chemically, mentally, emotionally, physically and energetically every moment - and every moment you have a choice of how you feel and how you react. The better you feel, the higher your vibration; and the higher your vibration - the more intuitively aware you are.

What triggers you and why?

Either change your environment or change how you react to it. If all you have is a hammer, you will treat everything as a nail. The proverbial hammer might have been your go-to survival skill for most of your life. You've learned to defend yourself, to fight for yourself in order to survive and feel safe. Most likely the learned tool will no longer work for you many years before you recognize its inefficiency. By now you've become addicted to feeling bad. Yes, the chemical reaction you are creating within your physical body is a familiar feeling that your body craves. The biochemical reaction within, is supplying the drug that your mindset triggers and body pharmacy produces. Are you monitoring your thoughts or are you allowing yourself to indulge in a barrage of heavy feelings? Most of our thoughts are fallacies which perpetuate the feelings. This is a familiar territory and it gives a false sense of safety. To break free from your own addictions of feeling bad, anxious, sad or angry - you got to start loving yourself.
